WE THE PEOPLE OF JACKSON COUNTY In memory of our shipmate and friend IRWIN MOORE LAUGHTER Born JULY 28, 1893 in Jackson County, Texas. Killed at Mazatlan, Mexico, June 19, 1916 while fighting valiantly against Mexicans. His courage and devotion to duty were worthy of the most glorious traditions of the Navy.
