REV. J. B. TIDWELL.
PRESIDENT DECATUR BAPTIST COLLEGE.
Rev. J. B. Tidwell, who is now president of the Decatur Baptist College,
acquired his education at Blooming Grove Academy, Howard College and
Baylor University. In 1891 he entered Blooming Grove Academy, graduating
from there two years later. He entered Howard College, of Birmingham,
Ala., from which institution he graduated with honor in 1898. In 1893
Baylor University conferred the degree of Master of Arts on him, and he is
now a correspondent student of Chicago University.
Rev. Tidwell is one of the best instructors in the State. His pupils have
distinguished themselves in other institutions, and his many years of
experience place him in the front rank of public educators.
